Throttle Plate Mod

Drill a 12mm hole in the throttle plate anywhere in the centre of the plate. Wipe clean any swarf. Keep water away from the throttle plate and electronics.

Reassemble in reverse order.

This eliminates light throttle surging & check lights caused by blanking off the EGR port.

Alternatively, you can fully remove the throttle plate by removing the 2 screws circled in red.

NB: If drilling a 12mm hole in the throttle plate, be sure to support the back of the plate so you don't bend the shaft when putting weight on it with the drill
